What is it like working at SRA?
Jack - Architectural Assistant
Welcoming new team members
Our comprehensive induction programme welcomes and integrates new staff as quickly and easily as possible. Initially working alongside a 'buddy', new recruits are introduced to other team members and our projects, systems, procedures and brand.
Training and development
We want all our staff to develop their careers as far as they would like it. We host a varied CPD programme to give everyone the opportunity to broaden their learning.
We have a self-review system in place and each staff is allocated a mentor - an Associate to whom they can specifically talk about any issues they wish.
We seek to support all who are studying towards qualifying as Architects or other professional qualifications. We have been delighted to have been able to offer students opportunity to study part-time and/or receive financial assistance and mentoring towards study for RIBA Part 2 and Part 3 and CIAT accreditation.
Our work-life balance
We work hard to promote a healthy work-life balance. Here’s a little bit more about the benefits of joining us here at SRA!
Flexibility working around core hours provides freedom within our schedules and helps us all enjoy a better work-life balance
Many of us cycle or run to work. We have a shower in the Practice to freshen up and start the day well.
Our open plan office promotes interaction and an expansive kitchen space doubles up as an area to relax, refresh and come together.
Sometimes life presents us with an adventure which we want to grab! Aside from holiday days, the Practice offers additional days-off as unpaid leave to help each of us to attain more of what we enjoy.
