What is it like working at SRA?

“Listen. Challenge. Refine. Enjoy. This is our Creative Approach. After 10 years at SRA, I can say with confidence that we genuinely care about those we work with and design for. This commitment guides everything we do.” – Hilary Blake, Project Architect shares her perspective.

Welcoming new team members

Our comprehensive induction programme welcomes and integrates new staff as quickly and easily as possible. Initially working alongside a 'buddy', new recruits are introduced to other team members and our projects, systems, procedures and brand.

Training and development

We want all our staff to develop their careers as far as they would like it. We host a varied CPD programme to give everyone the opportunity to broaden their learning.

Mentoring

“Fika” is our informal mentoring programme where each member of staff meets with an Associate to talk about any issues they wish. We foster an open and transparent approach across the practice and we want to ensure everyone’s voice is heard.

Professional qualifications

We seek to support all who are studying towards qualifying as Architects or other professional qualifications. We have been delighted to have been able to offer students opportunity to study part-time and/or receive financial assistance and mentoring towards study for RIBA Part 2 and Part 3 and CIAT accreditation.

Our work-life balance

We work hard to promote a healthy work-life balance. Here’s a little bit more about the benefits of joining us here at SRA!
