Mike’s contribution to the practice cannot be overstated; his legacy will remain woven into the practice DNA for years to come.

After nearly 25 years with the practice, Mike passed away peacefully on 12th June 2025, following a brave three-year battle with cancer. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his calm presence, quiet strength, and unwavering respect for others; qualities that made him not only an exceptional architect and business leader, but also a valued colleague, devoted husband, loving father, and true friend.

Having completed his architectural education at UWE, Mike joined SRA in 2001 as a Part 1 Assistant. Through dedication and determination, he progressed steadily through the practice and was promoted to Director in 2014. The strong, long-lasting client relationships he built over the years were a testament to both his natural leadership and the consistent quality of his work. His hard work and commitment played a significant role in shaping the practice into what it is today.

Mike led by example, was highly respected, and is deeply missed by everyone at SRA Architects.
