Harley-Davidson of Lakeside - Grand Opening!

SRA Architects are proud to have assisted Harley-Davidson of Lakeside with the completion of their brand new showroom and workshop facility.

The new 750m² purpose-built facility allows the company to expand its retail services as a stand-alone operation. Previously Harley-Davidson shared space with the Mercedes-Benz dealership, which occupies the same prominent site at the Lakeside Retail Park in Essex. The opening of the Harley-Davidson building concludes Phase 1 of the Lakeside redevelopment, and opens the way for the next phase. Phase 2 involves refurbishing the existing building on the site, transforming it from a dual to a single-occupancy showroom, thus enabling Mercedes-Benz to have an enlarged space in which to expand their own retail services.

Throughout the design and construction stages of this project, SRA Architects have enjoyed working with Fresh Design International in bringing the Harley-Davidson concept to reality at Lakeside. We have also enjoyed serving our clients the Jardine Motors Group and Horizon Construction, and we look forward to continuing our work with them as the project progresses.

In true Harley-Davidson style, they will be hosting a Grand Opening Party on 30 July. If you are a Harley-Davidson fan you’re invited to head down to Thurrock, for what they describe as the Party of the Year!

We are delighted that Jardine Motors have re-invested in Lakeside Harley-Davidson with a bespoke showroom thirty percent bigger than our previous one. The new showroom brings bikes/motorclothes/parts and accessories together to delight every Harley-Davidson enthusiast. It’s a truly awesome building but don’t take our word for it come and see it for yourselves.
