SRA Architects and AB Dynamics submit planning application for new purpose-built manufacturing facility

We have recently submitted a planning application with AB Dynamics to Wiltshire Council for a second manufacturing facility. The site is located opposite the award-winning head office we designed and built for them last year.

The new purpose-built facility will aid increased productivity and future expansion. Initial plans have been developed during a period of substantial growth for the company. AB Dynamics’ longstanding commitment to engineering in the local area has seen them prosper and recruitment from the region is continuing – the company now employs more than 160 people and supplies automotive testing equipment to all of the world’s leading car manufacturers.

The new production facility represents the future success of the engineering industry and the region in uncertain times. Alongside the current headquarters it will establish an exemplary business hub close to Bradford-on-Avon’s town centre.

‘AB Dynamics stands out as a leader in its field. We’re delighted to be part of an excellent collaborative relationship with the company, having designed and built their existing award-winning headquarters. It’s a pleasure to be working with them again on this new cutting-edge manufacturing facility.’

Andrew Brooks, SRA Architect

‘This new building will be critical to help facilitate future growth, so that we can continue to successfully compete in a global market, along with creating many skilled jobs to boost the local economy.’

James Routh, CEO at AB Dynamics
