Planning for the Public Good, with Pooja Agrawal and Finn Williams
The public sector has a rich history of driving innovation and excellence in the built environment. However, in recent years there has been a significant reduction in spending on planning and development, and a widening skills gap between the public and the private sector. This adversely affects the public sector's capacity to plan for the public good.
Public Practice is a new social enterprise committed to changing this. By transforming perceptions of public planning, Public Practice aims to build the public sector’s capacity to deliver more homes and infrastructure, and improve the quality of the built environment. Join Pooja Agrawal and Finn Williams, Public Practice's co-founders, to hear how they are reinventing the role of the public planner and attracting a new generation of talented practitioners to work for the public good.
