Masterplanning is about understaning the sustainable relationship between the built environment and the communities that live, work and play within it.
Masterplanning is about understanding the sustainable relationship between the built environment and the communities that live, work and play within that environment. It is about strategically organising an achievable vision for a specified area. We must imagine large scale, while remaining realistic about details.
We are committed to creating beautiful places which enhance people’s lives both for today and for the future. As designers we take seriously our responsibility to support sustainable lifestyles so that communities can thrive. We believe sustainable architecture is more than ‘green technology’; it is as much about people’s wellbeing and creating economic growth as it is about environmental impact.
We are experienced in developing both urban and rural masterplans, for example Hereford north and HorseWorld. And masterplans for educational establishments, such as Langford, University of Bristol. We work to create a renewed sense of place using clever and imaginative design.
"The scheme recognised the sensitive nature of the development and the need for buildings to be sympathetic to existing buildings, environment and landscape."
Mark Owen - Managing Director, Horseworld
