All aspects of the store delivery are reviewed, including quality of finish, duration of build programme, cost/m2, store operating costs, energy consumption and retail turnover.
As part of this global benchmarking process, the programme is always optimised to ensure sufficient time is given for delivery, without delaying the opening date. Therefore all non-construction related activities, including retail fit out, recruitment, PR strategy, stock orders and store funding, are planned accordingly, placing increased significance on completing the project on time.
