Latest developments for Mercedes-Benz and Harley-Davidson in the South-East
/Working with Jardine Motors Group we are delighted to have secured planning consent for the development of the Mercedes-Benz dealership at Southend. Meanwhile on a site at Lakeside work is now well underway for a new Harley-Davidson showroom.
New Mercedes-Benz dealership
Plans have been approved for a significant refurbishment of the existing Mercedes-Benz facilities at Southend. They include a 20-car Mercedes/Smart/AMG showroom, together with a 20-bay workshop and additional valeting area.
With a clear appreciation of the latest Mercedes-Benz brand standards, we are carrying out an interior upgrade which will better communicate the company’s brand message.
Works to the building will also include alterations to the facades, enhancing the appearance and improving the experience for visiting customers.
Work continues on Harley-Davidson showroom in Essex
Following planning approval granted last September, work is now well underway on the Harley-Davidson building at Lakeside in Essex. The steel framed building will provide new accommodation for the Harley-Davidson showroom and workshop. This will give Harley-Davidson their own space, enabling them to move out of the building they currently occupy alongside Mercedes-Benz.
Scheduled for completion in early summer 2016, the new Harley-Davidson accommodation will allow refurbishment works to commence on the existing Mercedes-Benz showroom. This new showroom will be extended to incorporate the unit vacated by Harley-Davidson, providing a 15-car retail outlet with the very latest in customer care facilities.
