Located on one of the largest motor parks in Europe, our client’s brief was to deliver Audi’s ‘Terminal’ concept to maximise the potential of its prestigious position. Our work with Marshall Motor Group has once again given us the opportunity to develop a creative architectural response to achieve this, and reinforce the Audi brand.
The 33,960 sqft site is almost double the size of Exeter Audi’s existing dealership. The new showroom will offer customers the ability to view much of the full Audi range within a contemporary setting. It will be fitted with two HD display configuration rooms, allowing visitors to browse and configure their vehicle from within the comforts of the showroom.
In addition, plans offer a service drive-through reception, a 13 bay workshop, an MOT zone and full valet facilities.
With a tight schedule to keep, the design team successfully worked to streamline the planning process as much as possible. Marshall Motor Group plans to be open for business late 2016 and will achieve a BREEAM rating of Very Good.
The project is scheduled to begin on site early in 2016.
